Michaels killer accomplice part 10

I tracked the bowman back to Virginia, Michael and Kalli both following closely behind. What didn't make sense was returning back to this state. By now everyone should've know about our small hideout. It was as if he wanted to be followed.

Guardsman lurked in the shadows, watching us and waiting for the right moment to strike. There would be only one way around this. "Kalli, Michael... we need to split up. Each head a different direction. You all know where to go." Both nodded. I went forward, Kal went right and Mikey went left. Sure enough our hunters became confused.

The young female encountered slight resistance. The soldiers were getting careless. Without the use of a weapon she took them down. Using only her hands. She took two by the head and knocked their skulls together. Out like a light. The last opponent put up a slight fightt. His knife swung furiously, but she disarmed the man. With a swift and quick punch, she broke his jaw and slammed his head into a tree.

Michael encountered the least resistance. Only one man of whom was a complete idiot. The guy stared blankly at slightly bulky killer. The wood axe rose, jamming into the soldiers shoulder. With the knife, it went across the neck of the man. A perfectly bloody but yet clean kill.

Life was never easy for a killer hybrid. They were on me like a pack of wolves on one moose. Weapons were of course included in this fight and none were in my hands. Time to let the dragon loose. With a yell of defiance, my talons crushed down on two female guardsman in front of me. The sword sharp tail cutting a man in half behind me. But that did not story the group from attacking me. There were just to many of them... even for me.

Out of nowhere, my best friend ran out into the opening where the fight took place. She had a knack for at-the-right-moment appearances. Her combat axe crushed down upon a soldier in front of her. Removing the shotgun, the shells impacted upon two targets. Firing again confused them guardsman, giving the dragon ample time to react. Continuously Kalli worked quickly. Slaughtering her opponents with ease. At this time, Michael had reached the small enclave. Worried that his friends had not arrived.

The Bowman slowly and cautiously approached the tall serial killer. They both looked at each other. "Where are the other two?" His voice was between high and low. His eyes were dark brown and he wore what looked like a Scottish outfit. The bow held firmly in his left hand and a recent scar across his face. Michael spoke quietly. "I am unsure... they should have been here by now. They may be in trouble. We must go find them!"

The two kids continued fighting. The guardsman kept comming. Would their allies reach them in time? Would they live to fight again? Time was no longer in their hands. Their lives depending on a rescue from Michael.
