Chapter 2
Travel to earth was easy. My new ally and myself used a portal which was interesting. Flame, a young red fire dragon was yelling something. "Kid, get up! They've found you. I'll fight em off while you run."
Malefores elite warriors charged through the door as I was about to exit. Guard one's shields were down, a weaker kill. My sword sharp tail cut his throat as Flame killed number two with a blast if fire. Unfortunately the others activated their shields. The shields equipped upon them were of the element of fear, and I thought neither of us had the ability.
Without warning, Flame was forced to the floor and the soldiers advanced on me. Within seconds, they were frozen in place with red stuff floating around them. Had my control been lost again, and did I do that to them? The only two questions that were at mind currently. With ease, my first opponent was killed with the shadow element. And number two with the ice breath.
I was unaware of being able to use any dark abilities but it had happened. Outside, two portals opened. One belonging to the dragon army and the other to malefores dark invasion. I approached Flame as a human police officer entered. He was about to open fire until I spoke. "Don't shoot, we're on your side!"
Human transformation was nessesary at the time. The young cop spoke. "Those things are tearing up the city looking for some kid named Brandon. So far, they've taken every kid by that name and no luck."
"That'd be me!" I yelled although feeling a bit worried. "They were sent to capture me to start an invasion. That is what we are trying to prevent." At that moment, Cynder walked in with others from her world. She rushed in knocking me to the ground with her front paws lightly upon my chest.
"Um... Cynder," my voice lightly chimed in. "We don't have any time to play. If I don't hide they will surly find me."
Kathryn approached us in her dragon form. What she was saying was addressed to me. "So you're a killer to? Like her. You were the one who attacked Spyro?"
"Yes, and why did you attack me?"
"All you need to know is that I'm sorry and we are here to defend you. Malefore has started the invasion by finding Shadoe alive. They killed him and took the dark energy. Now his plan is to kill you and anyone else in his way."
Cynder approached the door and spoke worriedly. "By the moons, the invasion has officially started. We need to go immediately!" After returning to dragon form, I followed Cynder in the air. It was the first time I had ever flown, but it was also in a free way.
Some of the creatures coming from the portal had been buried for a reason. She was flying beside me. We both had fear in our eyes.

Cynder was forced to the ground by Malefores men and more surrounded me. A large armored enemy approached. I myself transformed into human to make this a fair fight. The armor still made me look like a dragon although I was standing. The armor was pure metal and shining black with the symbol of the elements on it. The weapons were shining black as well. On my left metallic arm, a large shield.
My right arm held a large sword. It definitely wasn't my style. My opponent, well I guess you could call it a demon. It was a dark orange color, red eyes, and had horrible breath. One hand held a large claymore broad sword and another was on is back laving the other hand free. He charged but I dodged and countered his four swipes until our swords connected.
With my shielded hand, I drew out a quarter staff that grew in length. Quickly the staff was stabbed into its rib cage, face and then legs which knocked the thing to the ground. My staff sword and shield vanished. The demon thing rose, changed and swung creation scratches and sparks on the armor. Then ugly circled around for another attack. The thing swung to no avail and a great strength enveloped me. I had ripped off its arm.
A long blade grew from the metal clasp at my wrist. The blade entered the demonic creatures chest leaving it suspended in the air. The evil creature fell when the weapon vanished. The demon things holding Cynder fled. They were cowards. "Are you alright Cyner?" She tesponded in a concerned way. "I'm fine. But, are you? Your combatants claws melted through the armor. You're wounded."
I looked at my chest and winced as cynder poked at the bloody gash. It hurt and overly painful but would never admit it. Guess it was hard to hide pain from Cynder and appeared quite impossible.
"You've gotta rest and heal" She said very annoyed. "You are not immortal. You need to survive. The armor will repair itself and heal you slowly. But that is too time consuming. You must rest." Trying to argue was futile but there was nowhere safe to hide during a war or invasion. In wich case is unfortunately both. She chimed in again. "I've got it Brandon. Well go to the forward operating base. They've got great medics. Besides, Terrador needs to be aware of the combat situation."
The place was like a colony from another world. I just wonder who's idea it was to put it in the Yucatán Jungle. It appeared that the whole planet was here. Strangely they all looked busy without a care in the world. However, Spyro was looking at me evil again. That was very irritating, after all, he attacked me first. 'Why am I thinking of this? World war three has just started and I'm thinking of Spyro's hatred of me.' I began ignoring the thought to start on the war.
'This war has just begun and has to be stopped. I can't let this planet be destroyed, or can I? And does humanity deserve to live for what they've done.' All thoughts were dropped and the last one was kinda creepy. A health crystal healed the wound on me but the armor was still cut open.
"Hey hero!" Cynder yelled, scaring the crud out of my battle hardened soul. "If you wanna live, move your feet. Those demonic uglies are advancing toward the lake. Chief Prowl us could use all the help he can get and they're our greatest allies." Unfortunately she made sense. These new enemies can cut through thick armor and
burn the flesh beneath. It'd be devestating for the Falcons of Avalar. A smile appeared on my grim face and it was directed toward Cynder. 'Why did you just smile idiot. This is a war and she is just a friend. Snap out of it!' There were about fourty eight of those things.
With ease, the first three fell from a comet dash and four others from the ice tail attack. I transformed to human deflecting the next attack with a sword. The weapon was completely vaporized and the hellish creature attacked. Pain enveloped my backside revealing a new bloody scratch.
Death would be quick at this rate and there were no easy ways to kill demons. Fire fury ended them quickly but I was no longer human. Transformation was impossible but then things became worse.
Cynder flew down in a very worried way. "We're in major trouble now Shadow. Demons and Apes are moving to attack us and our human allies. Its either us or them. You cannot protect us both."
This decision could change the world and it was a mistake. Willingly, I followed the dragoness to find the dragons under heavy fire. This war was going to get worse.
